about
Clouded Memories is an orchestral retelling of the events leading up to the opening of Final Fantasy VII, the true events. In the spirit of psychological horror film scores with composers like Bernard Herrmann, Jerry Goldsmith, Shirley Walker, Don Davis, among them, I sought to convey the cluttered and confusing memories before they ever become detangled through the use of orchestral instruments, classic synths used in the game, and other textures I felt would complement the piece.

Time Once Lost (Remastered)

This is the last of Rozen's Zelda albums I had left to collect, even though it was his first released. When I first listened to it I began to draw the obvious comparisons between this and Children of Termina. However, after listening to this album a few times I realized it is its own thing entirely, more similar to the Ballads of Hyrule than the rest of the 'Of Hyrule' series. This makes Time Once Lost's chill atmosphere compliment Rozen's cinematic 'Of Hyrule' series surprisingly well.
